Stainless Steel Vacu-Stack® Chimney Cap – Solid Pack
The Stainless Steel Vacu-Stack® Chimney Cap is an ideal solution for addressing wind-related draft issues commonly experienced in homes surrounded by hills, tall trees, or neighboring buildings. This innovative chimney cap is expertly designed to combat these challenges by harnessing wind power to improve draft efficiency.
How It Works: The Vacu-Stack's distinctive design enhances wind flow around the cap, increasing wind speed and creating a partial vacuum. This vacuum effect helps to draw flue gases up and out of your chimney, effectively preventing downdrafts that could cause smoke, odors, and gases to infiltrate your home. In addition to its wind-resisting capabilities, this chimney cap also serves as a conventional protector, safeguarding your chimney from rain, snow, debris, and wildlife. It is specifically designed for round chimneys that are not air-insulated (non-air-cooled) but can also be adapted for square or rectangular chimneys using the Masonry Adapter.
For added safety, an optional stainless steel spark screen is available and may be required in certain regions. The standard mesh size is 1 inch x 1 inch, with a smaller 1/2 inch x 1/2 inch mesh also offered.
Please note that Vacu-Stack® chimney caps larger than 12 inches are custom-made and typically ship within 1-2 weeks. This product also comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty for added peace of mind.
